Multimedia Committee
The APME Multimedia Committee serves as a resource to help editors find their online focus and keep up with the latest trends in the digital news media. The committee provides examples and ideas to editors through APME.com, APME Update and the organization's annual conference.
In 2006, we will be adding a series of articles and links on this page showing examples and providing ideas — on everything from using multimedia on your Web sites, to breaking news online, to finding a plan for community journalism and other ways to interact with readers, to integrating print and online newsrooms, to Web site design and more — so some back to check them out.
To kick off the year, Ken Sands of the award-winning SpokesmanReview.com, provides a list of the "Top 10 Things Editors Should Do In 2006," including lots of links to online industry Web sites to visit, and conferences and training seminars to consider attending.
If you have ideas or would like to contribute articles or interesting links, send them to committee chair Mike Davis at davis@jsonline.com.
