Mark your 2005 calendars
Dear APME Colleagues:
San Jose.
Please keep these two words in mind as you budget for 2005.
The Fairmont Hotel, our conference headquarters, is a beautiful facility located in the heart of downtown. The hotel has given us a rate of $150 a day, a steal in the Bay Area that might make it possible for you to linger for a day or two of vacation.
The hotel also has given APME three free room nights that will be awarded in a drawing open to early conference registrants next year. More on this later.
We hope to build on this year's success in recruiting conference sponsors, which means that we should be able to reduce registration fees and make the trip more affordable.
By the way, San Jose is served by a number of airlines, including economy carriers.
Program Chairman George Stanley already is hard at work packing those four days – Oct. 26-29 – with thought-provoking information that you can take home and put to work immediately.
And, as always, there will be a healthy dose of fun.
Regards,
Deanna Sands
