Field operations
A total of 1,751 interviews were completed via telephone from August 23 to October 12, 2007, with 500 from the general public, and 1,251 print and online editors. All the interviews were conducted by the trained interviewing and supervising staff of the Center for Advanced Social Research (CASR) of University of Missouri's School of Journalism.
