Primary source of information for local news

When asked the primary source of information for local news, one-third of the general public (33%) said it was local newspaper, 47% local television, eight percent local radio, and about seven percent the Internet.

As for the editors, 78% naturally chose their own local newspaper as primary source of information for local news, two percent relied on local television, eight percent from the Internet including their newspapers' websites, and about six percent from family members or relatives.
