The deadline is quickly approaching for the 2011 "Great Ideas" book. We need your entries!
With "Great Ideas," you can show off your great work and help fellow editors by providing ideas that might work in their markets.
The "Great Ideas” website allows you to quickly submit entries (150-word limit) and upload a picture (.jpg, .pdf) that accompanies the Great Idea. The Web address is http://greatideas.azstarnet. com/site/index. When the Great Ideas page opens, click on the "Submit Your Great Idea!" link and input the entry. The process will take only a few minutes per entry.
Please submit your entries now. The deadline is Friday, July 29. Updated: The entry deadline has been extended to August 5th.
A "great idea" can be a newspaper project, a new concept for print or online, or a major improvement to something we do every day. The APME is again focusing on watchdog stories – big and small – because of the difference they can make in the community.
