APME Conference Emissaries
Another editor returns home ...

In a battered white box bearing many layers of mailing labels, a grinning (as always) Mojo Max returned to D.C.
Max took off in May to tell 8 editors across the country about the APME conference Oct. 3–6 and it looks like he made every stop and never left empty handed.
His little box, which carried only Max and the mailing labels when he left, is now crammed with all kinds of goodies. He has a sailor outfit, golf tees from the Clinton library, a cardboard camera and a fantastic Max-sized bike, backpack and helmet.
Unfortunately, Max also suffered a bit of damage to the back of the head and he now sports a patch and a band-aid, but on the whole, he did quite well in his travels. At his last stop, the Evansville Courier & Press, Mizell Stewart even took the time to reproduce the photos from each of Max's stops so that he now he can rest and remember all the good times he had.
You'll have a chance to bid on Max and his treasure trove at the APME Auction Thursday night. (He makes a fine traveling companion!)
