March 2006 Showcase Photo

This is the March 2006 Member Showcase photo of the month, as judged by APME. Heavy rain led to flooding that closed numerous roads.

The Associated Press Managing Editors association awards Member Showcase Photo honors each month for the best image shared by a newspaper with other Associated Press photo users. The competition is judged by a panel of AP and member photo editors. The best of the monthly Showcase photos receives a Member Showcase Photo prize at the APME annual conference in October.
