USE OF VIDEO INCREASES AT FLORIDA TODAY During training, each student – including journalists with more than 30 years' experience – produced two videos, which were then critiqued by instructors. Within one week of the training, the paper was posting two or more videos per day on its website at www.floridatoday.com. APME President Suki Dardarian is encouraging newspapers to revisit their immigrant populations to give readers the context they need to understand the current debate on border issues. While immigration is a hot issue, newspapers are welcome to take other approaches that are appropriate for their markets and newsrooms. APME's Diversity Committee wants to highlight great work during Time-Out on APME.com and in APME News magazine. Please select someone in your newsroom to serve as Time-Out coordinator and ask that person to send information on your work, including links to coverage and PDFs, if they are available, to cstovall@pressconnects.com or mporto@delawareonline.com by June 21.
