At the Lincoln, Nebraska, NewsTrain on April 4, 2020, you will learn how to:

  • Edit short news videos on your smartphone,
  • Verify user-generated images and other content on deadline,
  • Mine data for enterprise stories off any beat,
  • Make smarter choices in how to tell stories for mobile audiences, and
  • Use social media as powerful reporting tools.

For just $75 through March 4, 2020, early birds can register for a full day of digital training. On March 5, registration increases to $85.

Scholarships are available for journalists, journalism educators and journalism students from diverse backgrounds. The deadline to apply is Feb. 19, 2020. And rooms are available at a discounted rate of $99 a night at the Graduate hotel. Please see the workshop page for details.
