At the Fresno NewsTrain on March 27-28, 2020, you will learn how to:

  • Verify user-generated images and other content on deadline,
  • Develop a data mindset to improve daily stories,
  • Make smarter choices in telling stories for mobile audiences, 
  • Use social media as powerful reporting tools,
  • Evaluate ideas for podcasts,
  • Take better photos, audio and dictation with your smartphone, and
  • Maximize audience analytics to create compelling journalism.

For just $75 through Feb. 27, 2020, early birds can register for 1.5 days of digital training. On Feb. 28, registration increases to $85.

Scholarships are available for journalists, journalism educators and journalism students from diverse backgrounds. The deadline to apply is Feb. 13, 2020. Please see the workshop page for details.
