'Deadbeat Illinois' makes entry in Broken Budgets coverage

The Illinois Associated Press and several of the state's newspapers have joined forces to produce "Deadbeat Illinois," a series of stories that began Sunday and tell the story of the state not paying its bills.

It's the latest statewide project in the AP-APME Broken Budgets initiative, detailing fiscal crises in governments across the country.
